White Pizza

White Pizza is a creamy, cheesy delight topped with a blend of ricotta, mozzarella, and garlic for a rich and flavorful Italian-inspired dish without tomato sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to desired thickness and place on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  2. In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper; mix well.
  3. Brush the olive oil evenly over the pizza dough surface.
  4. Spread the ricotta mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan evenly over the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
  7. Remove from oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, drizzle with a little garlic-infused olive oil before serving or add spinach or mushrooms as toppings.
