Vegan Brownies

Deliciously rich and fudgy vegan brownies made without eggs or dairy, perfect for a plant-based dessert craving.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup almond milk (or any plant-based milk)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup dairy-free chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the vegetable oil, almond milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until fully combined.
  4. Fold in the dairy-free chocolate chips, if using.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

For an extra fudgy texture, replace half of the all-purpose flour with almond flour or add a tablespoon of ground flaxseed.
