A flavorful and healthy dish featuring tender teriyaki-glazed salmon served over fluffy rice with creamy avocado slices, perfect for a quick and delicious meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 cup cooked jasmine rice
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges (optional)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the salmon fillets in teriyaki sauce for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook the salmon fillets for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through and caramelized.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Place cooked rice in serving bowls.
  6. Top rice with cooked salmon fillets and sliced avocado.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
  8. Serve with lemon wedges if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, drizzle a little extra teriyaki sauce over the salmon and rice just before serving.
