Sweet Chili Garlic Salmon

This Sweet Chili Garlic Salmon combines tender, flaky salmon with a flavorful, spicy-sweet glaze that’s perfect for a quick and healthy dinner.

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together sweet chili sauce, minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil.
  2. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Place salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  5. Flip the salmon and pour the sweet chili garlic sauce over the top.
  6. Cook another 3-4 minutes, spooning the sauce over the salmon as it cooks, until salmon is cooked through.
  7. Transfer salmon to plates and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Serve with steamed jasmine rice and stir-fried vegetables for a complete meal. For extra heat, add a dash of red chili flakes to the sauce.
