  • 1 pie crust (9-inch, pre-made or homemade)
  • 1 lb cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté the green onions until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Layer the cooked shrimp evenly over the pie crust.
  6. Sprinkle the sautéed green onions over the shrimp.
  7. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Pour the egg and cream mixture gently over the layered ingredients.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until the pie is set and the top is golden brown.
  10. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

For added flavor, garnish with fresh parsley or serve with a side of mixed greens for a complete meal.
