Reeses peanut butter cup cookies

These soft and chewy peanut butter cookies are loaded with chunks of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups for the ultimate chocolate and peanut butter combination. Perfect for satisfying any sweet tooth!

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.
  7. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a richer flavor, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking. Serve with a glass of milk for the ultimate treat!
