Delicious Puff Pastry Brie Bites

These Puff Pastry Brie Bites are a delightful appetizer, combining flaky puff pastry with creamy brie and a touch of sweetness. Perfect for parties or a simple yet elegant snack!

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz brie cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup fig jam (or other jam of your choice)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Optional: chopped pecans or walnuts for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unfold the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Cut the puff pastry into 16 equal squares.
  4. Place a square of brie in the center of each puff pastry square.
  5. Top each brie square with a small dollop of fig jam.
  6. Brush the edges of the puff pastry with the beaten egg.
  7. Fold the corners of the puff pastry towards the center, pinching to seal. Alternatively, bring two opposite corners to the middle and pinch to seal.
  8. Brush the tops of the pastries with the remaining egg wash.
  9. If desired, sprinkle with chopped pecans or walnuts.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  11. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve these brie bites warm for the best flavor and texture. You can substitute other jams like apricot or raspberry depending on your preference.
