No Bake Salted Caramel Pretzel Bars

Delight in these easy no bake salted caramel pretzel bars that combine crunchy pretzels with rich caramel and a touch of sea salt for the perfect sweet and salty treat.

  • 2 cups pretzels, crushed
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine crushed pretzels and melted butter; press evenly into the bottom of the pan.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk together brown sugar, sweetened condensed milk, and caramel sauce. Bring to a gentle boil, stirring constantly for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  4. Pour the caramel mixture evenly over the pretzel crust and sprinkle with sea salt.
  5. Optional: Sprinkle white chocolate chips on top and let them melt, then spread evenly.
  6. Refrigerate the bars for at least 2 hours until set.
  7. Cut into squares and serve chilled.

Notes

For extra crunch, add chopped nuts to the pretzel crust or drizzle melted dark chocolate over the bars before chilling.
