Luxe Cranberry Tiramisu

Indulge in this elegant Luxe Cranberry Tiramisu that combines the classic creamy Italian dessert with a festive twist of tart cranberries for a refreshing and luxurious treat.

  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brewed espresso, cooled
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • Cocoa powder for dusting
  • Fresh cranberries and mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine fresh cranberries, sugar, and water. Cook over medium heat until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens, about 8 minutes. Let cool.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. In another bowl, stir together mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully combined.
  5. Mix the brewed espresso with coffee liqueur in a shallow dish.
  6. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the espresso mixture and layer them in a serving dish.
  7. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, then evenly spoon half of the cranberry compote on top.
  8. Repeat the layers with remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and cranberry compote.
  9. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow flavors to meld.
  10. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and garnish with fresh cranberries and mint leaves.

Notes

For an extra indulgent touch, sprinkle some dark chocolate shavings on top before serving.
