  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in a slow cooker.
  2. Pour chicken broth over the chicken.
  3. Sprinkle ranch seasoning over the chicken.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is easily shredded.
  5. Remove chicken from the slow cooker and shred with two forks.
  6. Return shredded chicken to the slow cooker.
  7. Add softened cream cheese and heavy cream to the slow cooker. Stir until cream cheese is melted and well combined.
  8. Stir in crumbled bacon and cheddar cheese.
  9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
