This Jalapeno Popper Cheese Ball is the perfect appetizer for any party! Creamy, cheesy, and with just the right amount of kick, it’s a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 ounces shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped pickled jalapenos, drained
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • Crackers, pretzels, or vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, mayonnaise, jalapenos, green onions, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Mix well until everything is evenly distributed.
  3. Gently fold in 1/4 cup of the crumbled bacon, reserving the rest for the outside.
  4. Shape the mixture into a ball.
  5. Place the remaining crumbled bacon on a plate or in a shallow dish.
  6. Roll the cheese ball in the bacon until it is completely coated.
  7. Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
  8. Serve with crackers, pretzels, or vegetables.

Notes

For a spicier cheese ball, use fresh jalapenos instead of pickled, or add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
