Honey Ricotta Pizza

A deliciously creamy and lightly sweet Honey Ricotta Pizza that combines fluffy ricotta cheese with a golden drizzle of honey on a crispy crust, perfect for a quick and elegant meal.

  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 tbsp honey, plus extra for drizzling
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or an inverted baking sheet inside.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the dough to a piece of parchment paper.
  4. Brush the dough lightly with olive oil.
  5. Spread the ricotta cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  6. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the ricotta.
  7. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  8. Carefully slide the pizza (with parchment) onto the preheated stone or baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  10. Remove from oven and immediately drizzle honey over the hot pizza.
  11. Garnish with fresh thyme or rosemary leaves.
  12. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

For added texture, sprinkle toasted pine nuts or drizzle balsamic glaze before serving.
