Halloween Crack is an addictive sweet and salty treat perfect for parties or snacking! This easy-to-make recipe features a crispy cracker base topped with toffee and your favorite Halloween candies.

  • 1 sleeve saltine crackers
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Halloween sprinkles
  • 1 cup assorted Halloween candies, chopped (e.g., Reese’s Pieces, M&Ms, candy corn)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange saltine crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter and sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  4. Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mixture turns a light golden brown.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the toffee mixture evenly over the crackers.
  7. Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the toffee is bubbly.
  8. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with Halloween sprinkles and chopped Halloween candies.
  9. Let cool completely before breaking into pieces.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use brown sugar instead of granulated sugar in the toffee. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
