  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush chicken breasts with olive oil and minced garlic evenly on both sides.
  4. Press the Parmesan mixture onto both sides of each chicken breast to coat thoroughly.
  5. Melt butter in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
  6. Add chicken breasts and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
  8. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
