  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic and salt. Mash together to form a paste.
  2. Slowly whisk the olive oil into the garlic paste until well combined.
  3. Add black pepper and stir in parsley and red pepper flakes if using.
  4. Allow the dip to rest for at least 10 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  5. Serve with fresh crusty bread, raw vegetables, or use as a drizzle over salads.

Notes

For best flavor, let the dip sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving. You can also add a splash of lemon juice for brightness.
