Garlic Knots

Soft, buttery garlic knots brushed with a flavorful garlic herb sauce, perfect as a savory snack or a side to your favorite Italian dishes.

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a 12×12 inch square.
  3. Cut the dough into 12 strips, about 1 inch wide.
  4. Tie each strip into a knot and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  6. Brush half of the garlic butter mixture over the knots.
  7. Bake the knots for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and immediately brush with the remaining garlic butter sauce.
  9. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter sauce or serve with marinara dipping sauce.
