A festive and savory garlic bread wreath wrapped around a warm, gooey baked brie, perfect for entertaining or as an appetizer to share.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • 8 oz wheel of brie cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Honey or fig jam, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
  3. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, olive oil, and Italian herbs.
  4. Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over each crescent triangle.
  5. Arrange the triangles in a circular wreath shape on a parchment-lined baking sheet, with the wide ends overlapping and the narrow ends pointing outward.
  6. Place the wheel of brie in the center of the wreath.
  7. Fold the outer edges of the dough slightly over the edge of the brie, tucking and stretching as needed to create a ring around the cheese.
  8. Sprinkle the wreath with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and the brie is melted inside.
  10. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
  11. Serve warm with honey or fig jam on the side for drizzling.

Notes

For extra flavor, add chopped nuts such as walnuts or pecans around the brie before baking, and serve with fresh fruit on the side.
