Delicious Crockpot Stuffing

This Crockpot Stuffing recipe is a game-changer for holiday dinners! Perfectly moist and flavorful, it frees up oven space and is incredibly easy to make.

  • 1 loaf (1 pound) day-old bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Place bread cubes in a large bowl.
  2. In a skillet, sauté celery and onion in melted butter until tender.
  3. Add sage, thyme, and pepper to the skillet; cook for 1 minute more.
  4. Pour the celery mixture over the bread cubes.
  5. Add chicken broth and parsley; toss gently to combine.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased 5-6 quart slow cooker.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, or until heated through and bread is tender.

Notes

For a richer flavor, brown Italian sausage in the skillet with the celery and onion.
