  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup jellied cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • Crackers, baguette slices, or vegetables, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gently fold in the jellied cranberry sauce, chopped fresh cranberries, diced jalapeno, and green onions.
  3. If desired, stir in the chopped pecans or walnuts.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve chilled with crackers, baguette slices, or vegetables.

Notes

For a milder flavor, remove the seeds and membranes from the jalapeno before dicing. You can also add a drizzle of honey for extra sweetness.
