  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • Sprinkles, for decorating

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Press the sugar cookie dough into a 9-inch pie plate.
  3. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool completely.
  4. While the crust cools, prepare the frosting: In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy.
  5. Gradually add the powdered sugar, beating until well combined.
  6. Stir in the vanilla extract and milk until smooth.
  7. Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled sugar cookie crust.
  8. Decorate with sprinkles.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use brown butter in the frosting. You can also add a dash of almond extract to the frosting for extra flavor. Serve chilled.
