Chocolate Mint Pie

A rich and refreshing Chocolate Mint Pie featuring a smooth chocolate filling with a hint of cool mint, perfect for a delightful dessert.

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted
  • Whipped cream, for topping
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter; press mixture into a 9-inch pie pan to form crust.
  2. Bake crust for 8 minutes, then cool completely.
  3. In a bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  4. Mix in peppermint extract and melted chocolate until well combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream to stiff peaks, then fold gently into the chocolate mixture.
  6. Pour filling into cooled crust and smooth the top.
  7. Refrigerate pie for at least 4 hours or until set.
  8. Before serving, top with whipped cream and garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Notes

For an extra minty kick, add a few drops of green food coloring to the filling and serve chilled for best flavor.
