This Cheddar Ranch Cheeseball is a crowd-pleasing appetizer perfect for parties and gatherings. It’s loaded with sharp cheddar cheese, creamy ranch seasoning, and plenty of flavor!

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet (1 ounce) ranch dressing mix
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup crumbled cooked bacon (optional)
  • Crackers, pretzels, or vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add the shredded cheddar cheese, ranch dressing mix, parsley, green onions, and bacon (if using).
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  4. Shape the mixture into a ball.
  5. Wrap the cheeseball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Before serving, unwrap the cheeseball and place it on a serving platter.
  7. Serve with crackers, pretzels, or vegetables for dipping.

Notes

For a spicier cheeseball, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce to the mixture.
