  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen cheddar bay biscuit mix
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the breakfast sausage and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, prepare the cheddar bay biscuit mix according to package directions, substituting milk for water.
  4. Add the biscuit mix to the sausage and cheese mixture. Mix until well combined.
  5. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.
  6. Place the sausage balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. While the sausage balls are baking, melt the butter and stir in the garlic powder and dried parsley.
  9. Once the sausage balls are done, brush them with the melted butter mixture.
  10. Serve warm.
