Broccoli Cheese Casserole Delight

This classic Broccoli Cheese Casserole is a comforting and flavorful side dish perfect for any occasion. Tender broccoli florets are combined with a creamy, cheesy sauce and baked to golden perfection.

  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen broccoli florets, thawed
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup crushed Ritz crackers

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the thawed broccoli, mayonnaise, cream of mushroom soup, cheddar cheese, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
  3. Pour the broccoli mixture into a greased 8×8 inch baking dish.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and crushed Ritz crackers. Sprinkle evenly over the broccoli mixture.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Let stand for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For an extra crispy topping, broil for the last 1-2 minutes of baking, watching carefully to prevent burning.
