  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Red food coloring (optional, for deeper color)
  • Red sprinkles (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the red velvet candy melts and butter in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely smooth.
  3. Stir in the heavy cream and salt until well combined. Add red food coloring, if desired, for a deeper red color.
  4. Pour the melted candy mixture over the popped popcorn and gently toss to coat evenly.
  5. Spread the coated popcorn in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Sprinkle with red sprinkles, if desired.
  7. Let the popcorn cool completely until the candy coating is set.
  8. Break the popcorn into clusters and serve.
