Bacon Cream Cheese Bagels

Savor the rich and savory combination of crispy bacon and smooth cream cheese layered inside a freshly toasted bagel, perfect for a hearty breakfast or satisfying snack.

  • 2 plain bagels, sliced in half
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 1 tablespoon chives, chopped (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon slices in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels and set aside.
  2. Toast the bagel halves until golden brown.
  3. Spread a generous layer of cream cheese on each toasted bagel half.
  4. Place 3 slices of crispy bacon on the bottom half of each bagel.
  5. Sprinkle chopped chives and black pepper over the cream cheese if desired.
  6. Top with the bagel halves and serve immediately.

Notes

For a spicy twist, add a few slices of jalapeño or a drizzle of hot sauce before assembling the bagel.
