  • 1.5 lbs ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cups cooked egg noodles
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Add chopped onion and green bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, milk, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stir the soup mixture into the skillet with the ground beef and vegetables. Mix well.
  6. Add the cooked egg noodles to the skillet and stir to combine.
  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  8. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the casserole is heated through.
