air fryer protein bagels

These air fryer protein bagels are a quick and healthy twist on the classic breakfast favorite, packed with protein and ready in minutes. Perfect for a nutritious start to your day or a satisfying snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp water (if needed)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional toppings: sesame seeds, poppy seeds, everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine oat flour, protein powder, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add Greek yogurt, egg, and vanilla extract; mix until a dough forms. If too dry, add water tablespoon by tablespoon until the dough is pliable.
  3. Divide dough into 2 equal parts and shape each into a bagel with a hole in the center.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Place bagels in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
  6. Sprinkle optional toppings on top, gently pressing them into the dough.
  7. Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until golden and firm to the touch.
  8. Remove and allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, toast the bagels after air frying and spread with cream cheese or nut butter.
