Air Fryer Fries

Crispy and golden air fryer fries offer a healthier twist on a classic favorite, delivering deliciously seasoned potato fries with less oil and maximum crunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes if desired, then cut them into 1/4-inch thick fries.
  2. Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch, then drain and pat dry thoroughly.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the fries with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 5 minutes.
  5. Place the fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding.
  6. Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes for even crispiness.
  7. Once golden and crispy, remove fries from the air fryer and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra crispiness, soak the potatoes overnight and dry well before cooking; serve with ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce.
